Recent projects:

• Careful Digital are leading a digital transformation project, implementing changes to booking processes & systems at a major UK environmental education charity
  • Rollout of new booking management system
  • Introduction of new Power BI reporting systems
  • Introduction of web self-service systems
• Careful Digital became a partner on two major European Union funded environmental education projects: Change the Story, where we have developed a Moodle-based infrastructure for online learning, and are developing a website to showcase the digital stories about climate change being produced by pupils across Europe, and Natural Entrepeneurs, commencing in 2021.
• We delivered a website for another major European Union funded environmental education project: the Urban Science project
• We prototyped a new core infrastructure for the Archive, Museum and Archaeology platform of a digital heritage company to increase performance and resilience.
• We provided digital consultancy and support to a major London charity
• We completed Umbraco Expert certification

Recent projects:

• 2016: Led transition from IT to Digital Services team
• 2016-17: Chair of Review of Booking Processes and Systems, undertaking business process analysis and getting customer and external perspectives of charity-wide systems
• 2015: led review of IT strategy, with input from teams across the charity and external perspectives
• 2014-17 strongly involved in FSC Data Working Group and resulting implementation of systems for data collation/sharing
• 2014-16: Chair of Connectivity Group which led substantial investment in FSC’s connectivity and networks
• 2014-16: overall lead for review of FSC software development processes and introduction of agile practices and systems for team working
• 2014-16: led and implemented ecommerce and self-service portal using C#, MVC, Umbraco, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, jQuery, web services
• 2013-14: completed ILM Level 5 Leadership course
• 2013-15: Member of FSC Strategic Planning Team, looking at the development of the wider business
• 2011-16: transition of FSC websites to Umbraco CMS, and ongoing leadership and implementation of FSC web development using Umbraco (Level 1 and 2 certified), IIS, HTML, CSS, analytics
• 2009-16: migration to CARE CRM, and ongoing leadership and implementation of CRM development and support and reporting, using SQL and SQL Server administration skills
